At the same time, the PWS2-30K-NA can only be configured to communicate with the EMS via Ethernet, or RS-485, refer to HMI operation for more information ===== Ethernet cable connection ===== PWS2-30K-NA can be directly controlled through Ethernet for remote control. Through networking, users can remote dispatch energy, monitor operation status, and set parameters with MODBUS TCP/IP protocol. {{:manual:pws2-30k:image139_ethernet_cable.png|}} The pinout of a standard T-568B straight-through ethernet cable: ^Pin^Color^ |1|white/orange| |2|Orange| |3|white/green| |4|blue| |5|white/blue| |6|green| |7|white/brown| |8|brown| - Penetrate network cable whose insulating layer is stripped into the waterproof cap and insert it into RJ45 connector after being arranged in order; - Use wire crimpers to compress the connector; - Screw out the cap on the waterproof Ethernet terminal at the bottom of the inverter; - Insert the ready-made cable into Ethernet terminal. ====== RS-485 cable connection ====== PWS2-30K-NA can be connected to EMS through RS-485 to obtain battery information and energy dispatching command and complete automatic charging and discharging control and protection of energy storage system. RS-485 is connected through RJ45 connector. The definition of the pin of RJ45 connector is shown in the following image. The connection steps are the same as Ethernet cable. {{:manual:pws2-30k:image140_rs485_cable.png|}} ====== Remote EPO connection ====== A remote EPO switch can be connected to the R-EPO RJ45 port. {{:manual:pws2-30k:image142_emergency_power_off.png|}} THE R-EPO IS A NORMAL CLOSED CONTACT. IT SHOULD BE CONNCTED TO A NC SWITCH OR BUTTON. IF NO REMOTE EPO IS NEEDED, PLEASE DISABLE THE EPO FUNCTION IN HMI.
